Excellent care begins with quality, safety and accountability. The Sinai Health System Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) helps us drive performance and enhance patient care through focused targets and actions related to four dimensions of quality:

•    Safe
•    Effective
•    Timely
•    Patient and Family-Centred

Aligned with system and provincial priorities, the QIP has Board oversight and is reviewed regularly by staff across all levels of the organization. Its development included input from many stakeholders, including patients and their families. As a result, everyone across Sinai Health is continually working together to find new and better ways of doing things to enhance care, increase satisfaction and achieve better clinical outcomes for our patients.

The Sinai Health System 2017-2018 QIP articulates the priorities for the organization and is complemented by a detailed work plan. Additionally progress reports are made available each quarter.
