christmas party

Despite the sub-zero temperatures outside, the main floor auditorium glowed with warmth this week as patients and families came together for Bridgepoint’s holiday meals. The meals are an annual tradition, organized by Food Services, featuring holiday fare: turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and sticky toffee pudding.

Holiday music, a tree and even a digital version of a roaring fireplace made for a cozy and festive atmosphere. Employees from across the organization—some wearing Santa Claus hats, reindeer antlers and holiday aprons—were on hand to serve up the food and ensure everything ran smoothly.

Mr. Ho, a patient who attended the lunchtime meal was moved by the scene. “My heart is warm. I’m so happy. It feels like a big family,” he said. “Everybody that works here does everything with care and joy. I will always remember and be grateful for the care I received here.”

The annual patient and family holiday meals help make spending the holidays in the hospital a little bit brighter for patients and families. Check out a selection of photos from the event below. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s events special!
