Joan Sproul

Executive Vice President, Finance (CFO) & Chief Administrative Officer

Joan joined Mount Sinai Hospital as Director of Finance in 1996 and two years later was named the Hospital’s Vice President, Finance. She was appointed Executive Vice President, Corporate and CFO in 2012.

Her responsibilities included the fiscal planning and management of Mount Sinai’s $500 million annual budget; and strategic planning and counsel. In addition, Joan’s portfolio included Capital Redevelopment, Laboratories and Human Resources. Prior to joining Mount Sinai Hospital, Joan held a number of senior financial positions in the hotel industry. Joan is a graduate of the University of Toronto and holds a CPA.
