Lloyd Fogler

Lloyd S. D. Fogler, Q.C.


Lloyd S. D. Fogler, Q.C., director since 1977, served as Chair of the Board of Mount Sinai Hospital from 1991-1997 and Chair Emeritus from 1997-2002. Mr. Fogler also served as Chair of the Board of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation from 1999 to 2005.

Mr. Fogler is now retired Senior Partner of Fogler, Rubinoff Barristers and Solicitors, one of Toronto’s largest regional law firms.

Mr. Fogler has served on the Boards of Directors of The Canadian Opera Company, the Royal Ontario Museum and Canada Lands Company, as well as such public companies as Consumers Distributing Company, First Marathon Securities, Goldlist Construction Company and Brampton Brick.

He was admitted to the Bar in 1958, holding a degree of LL.B. (Honours) from Osgoode Hall Law School, appointed to the Queens Counsel in 1970 and he holds a B. Com. (Honours) degree from University of Toronto in 1954.
