Today, we tip our hard hats to the talented team of people who have made the first year of Mount Sinai’s redevelopment a success. It has only been one year since we installed our first construction wall, but we have already achieved many exciting milestones with the opening of an entirely new floor of clinical and staff related spaces on the 20th floor, early steps in the transformation of our Schwartz/Reisman Emergency Centre, and a brand new Neonatal Follow-up Clinic and Ophthalmology Clinic.
Delivering a mandate of this size and complexity while we continue to operate the hospital is no small feat and it will truly take a village to make this happen. That’s why we are very fortunate to have the expertise of the Redevelopment Project Office and Operational Readiness teams to guide and support us through every step of this project.
On behalf of everyone involved, thank you for your patience and support as we work to make our hospital an even better place to receive and deliver care. Learn more at renewsinai.ca and take a behind-the-scenes journey of key moments from the first year of our redevelopment:
