Dr. Shoo Lee, MBBS, FRCPC, FAAP, PhD
Sinai Health System
Dr. Lee is the Paediatrician-in-Chief for the Sinai Health System. A neonatologist and health economist, he is also the Director of the Maternal-Infant Care Research Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital, Associate Member of the Lunenfeld- Tanenbaum Research Institute and a Scientist at the Institute of Clinical Evaluative Studies.
He is Scientific Director of the Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and a Professor of Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Public Health at the University of Toronto. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada. He holds medical licenses in Singapore, the UK Canada and the United States.

Awards for his work include; the CIHR Knowledge Translation Award, the Aventis Pasteur Research Award, the Distinguished Neonatologist Award from the Canadian Paediatric Society; the Premier Member of Honour Award from the Sociedad Iberoamericana de Neonatologia and Magnolia Award from the Shanghai government.
